How are you spending Valentine's Day??

Hello my beautiful people! I pray that you are doing well! God put this on my heart to write this post! If you are single, such as myself, please, don't spend this Valentine's Day feeling down and sad! You know why? Because God wants to spend every waking moment with you! He wants to give you His love, not just on this day, but everyday. He loves you, and he doesn't want you to be sad. Remember sis, you aren't lonely, and you aren't unlovable. Here are a few scriptures as reminders that God loves us and is always with us! <3

John 15:9
I loved you as the Father loved me. Now remain in my love.

1 John 4:9-12
This is how God showed His love for us: He send His one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through Him. This is what real love is: It is not our love for God; it is God's love for us. He sent His Son to die in our place to take away our sins. Dear friends, if God loved us that much we also should love each other. No one has ever seen God, but if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is made perfect in us.

Ephesians 3:19
Christ's love is greater than anyone can ever know. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God

I don't know about you, but those scriptures certainly have me loving God even more! :)
I will quickly share something with you all!
Last year, the only thing that I did for Valentine's Day last year was get a bouquet of flowers at school from my parents (aw, how sweet!), and write a Valentine's Day letter to my future husband. I didn't really think of God's love at the time, until now. Yes, I knew He loved me by giving His only Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins, but as I continue to grow as a wisdom filled young lady, I realize that God's love is so much more than that! I realized that He would never hurt me, He would never want to harm me, and that He wants all of me. He wants to spend time with me. All He wants to do is be with me! That is the sweetest thing that I could ever experience. This love that He has for me is so powerful, I probably won't even understand it! Now, that I know how much He loves me, I've decided that from now on even after I'm married, I will spend every Valentine's Day with Him (not just that holiday, but everyday!)

I'm very excited to share with you! God and I decided that Valentine's Day should be our first public date! Even though I don't know where our first public date will be, but I know what I'm going to do!
1. Listen to Worship Music
2.Prayer-pray that the Word will be applied to my life, and that I will live by it! Pray that I understand it! Lean on His understand and not my own. Pray that I continue to learn to love properly. Learn the true meaning of love, and so much more! :)
3. Bible Study
4. Journal
5. Write my first love letter to Him
6. Prayer-pray for my family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, my future husband, my marriage, my future children, pray for a better world, etc.
7. Write a love letter to my future husband
I'm very excited to go out on my first public date with Jesus, however, I'm more excited that I will be growing spiritually, and spending time with Him daily! I love you Jesus! You are truly my Valentine! :) <3

I pray that this post has encouraged you, and I pray that you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day with Jesus! If you have any prayer requests, please don't hesitate to contact me!
